Reimagining Community Outreach: Reflections on Wesley’s Catholic Spirit
In this workshop, we will draw inspiration from John Wesley’s sermon “The Catholic Spirit” to reimagine how the local church engages its community. Rev. Bohorquez will present three case studies from his previous ministry in Vancouver as models for collective reflection and practical application.

Lunch
We ask that all pastors stay on site for lunch — A hot meal is catered at the cost is $25.00.
Lunch is a choice of chicken prepared baked, BBQ, or jerk, served alongside roast vegetables, rice and peas, garden salad, and roast potatoes. The meal is finished with cake and punch.

Our Speaker
Davidson Kevin Bohorequez.
Davinson is a Latino-Canadian scholar and ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He enjoys teaching Koine Greek, both as an academic discipline and as a tool for spiritual formation. Davinson and his wife, Halyna, live in Downtown Toronto where he is currently pursuing a PhD at Wycliffe.
