Be an Instructor

Working From Home

Teaching with the DMTC is a chance to use your teaching gift in a new environment and equip new pastors and leaders. We offer remuneration for your time and flexibility to help it fit with your busy schedule. Contact Tamara Hudson, our director to learn more. 

What is Involved?

  • Prepare sessions (see list below for a complete list of courses we offer)

    • Use the framework from the curriculum provided (including the textbook and a list of possible assignments)

  • Teach sessions (usually 6-8 weeknights on Zoom but in-person courses on Saturdays may be discussed)

  • Grade papers or projects (usually 5-12 students)

What is Required

  • All instructors must have a Master's degree with at least 18 hours (6 credits) in their teaching areaYou do not need to be a Nazarene pastor or teacher, but you must be familiar with a Wesleyan Holiness approach to theology and be able to teach from that perspective. See Statement of Beliefs
